Jaume Guiscafrè (Universitat de les Illes Balears) és l'autor de la ressenya dels llibres Això era i no era. Obra folklòrica de Josep M. Pujol i Three Selected Papers on Catalan Folklore publicada a la revista Fabula núm. 56 (1/2), a les pàgines 174-179 de la secció Besprechungen.
Between 1985 and 2012 - when he died prematurely - Pujol, who was also a specialist in medieval literature and typography, published, either alone or in collaboration, 47 works on folklore and on folkloristics in journals and collective books. In 2013, Carme Oriol and Emili Samper, his two most direct collaborators, got together and brought out the 25 most outstanding in a book entitled Això era i no era: Obra folklòrica de Josep M. Pujol, a 409-page edition, of impecable style and typography.
